This Man Quits His Job To Travel The Country And Save Dogs From Shelters

Lee Asher grew up in Los Angeles, California, with an odd family of nine rescued animals who lived alone. Asher had known since he was a child that he was intended to help animals in need, and he had saved 16 of them since then.

As a youngster, Asher used to spend a lot of time at a nearby animal shelter learning about the rescue process. As a result, he understood that his adult life’s purpose would be to rescue animals and help them find homes as much as possible.

Asher, who talked with The Dodo, stated that

The man brought seven dogs to his house, Yaffa, Molly, Cali, BoBo, Butters, Haven, and Lillie, as well as two cats, Whiskey and Goose.

He’s always been able to help these beings. They were all rescued from various forms of abandonment and have lived wonderful lives as a consequence.

According to Asher,

“Inspiration comes from a love for dogs and the realization that by rescuing a dog, you are not only saving a life, but also providing way for other rescued animals to be adopted.” It’s a win-win situation with a fantastic feeling.”
