Several people at a carpool pick-up spot in Niewegein, in the Netherlands, noticed a shepherd mix dog on the edge of a nearby wooded area. Unfortunately, the dog was abandoned and left in a cage alone, without any owners present.
Police responded to the call for help and rushed to the scene. Upon arriving at the location, they were shocked to find a dog in a case waiting for help.

As soon as she saw the rescuers, she seemed to have no fear of them. In her happiness and gratitude, she thanked them with a big smile and adorable puppy jiggles. Despite of everything she’s been through, she’s still sweet and just wants someone to love her.
She was taken to a shelter nearby, where staff determined she was not microchipped. It is impossible to comprehend how an owner would abandon such a loving, sweet dog.
Many people have already offered to adopt the cute dog and provide him with the best forever home after the post was shared on Facebook.
In addition, people have expressed their rage toward her owner. Still, the police have advised people to remain calm since the most important thing is that the dog is okay.
